Because you should not be getting this message from ALL your boot disks. You are reporting the following post: The MSCD error means it’s trying to load dos cdrom support but isn’t finding that the cdrom driver has loaded. The red stripe on the cable goes to Pin 1 mxcd001 the cd-rom!!
